SIGNAL REX is proud to present AWAKETH’s 3rd Demo on cassette format.

Formed in 2019 by black/death metal activists of the Spanish underground, AWAKETH stands defiantly against the relativism and so-called open-mindedness of the modern black metal scene. Inspired by the militant spirit of the '90s Nordic tradition, the savage Teutonic fury, and the corrupted blackness of Les Légions Noires, AWAKETH tears through convention with raw and unfiltered sonic violence. Luziferian activism through distortion – this is black metal in its most primal, unapologetic form.

After five years of silence following their initial releases on In Pulverem Mortis and Tour de Garde, AWAKETH returns through SIGNAL REX with a vengeance. Aptly titled 3rd Demo, this new assault remains true to their primitive roots but hints at something more menacing. Expect razor-sharp riffing, caustic atmospheres, and unsettling ambient intrusions that feel both violent and transcendent.

3rd Demo is the sound of black metal’s decay and rebirth – where rusted edges meet the cold void of space, and delirium walks hand in hand with darkness.
